Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar on Wednesday expressed disappointment over the Opposition’s conduct during the Parliamentary Session. In his valedictory remarks after the end of the session, Mr Dhankar termed Leader of Opposition walking into the well of the House, a disgrace to Parliamentary conduct and propriety. Calling the house a temple of deliberation, discussion,
dialogue and debate, Mr Dhankar also said that he expects Members of the House to exemplify their conduct.
During his remarks, Mr Dhankar also informed that The Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address witnessed participation by 76 Members including maiden speeches by 19 newly elected Members.
