Rashmi Shukla reappointed as Maharashtra DGP

IPS officer Rashmi Shukla was reappointed as Maharashtra DGP on Monday. Earlier, she was transferred by the Election Commission (EC) ahead of the Maharashtra elections on November 4.

The development comes days



after the Election Commission of India earlier ordered the transfer of Rashmi Shukla, DGP Maharashtra with immediate effect. The poll body directed to Chief the Secretary to hand over her charge to the next senior most IPS officer in the cadre.
