Bhubaneshwar: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued red alert in seven districts, orange alert in six districts and yellow alert in eight districts of Odisha for the next 24 hours due to heavy rains. 

IMD has predicted heavy to very



heavy rains and flash floods in 2 districts.

Met office has also confirmed that a depression has formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha coast. State is experiencing heavy rains under its impact.
