An official website announcing details of All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi's maiden visit to UAE was launched in Dubai late on Friday night (January 8, 2019).
The website, www.rginuae.com was launched by chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC), Dr Sam Pitroda via live conferencing from the United States.
Interested attendees in the UAE must register on the portal ahead of the event, which is scheduled to take place on January 11 and 12, 2019 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, revealed a source.

Indian Cultural Society (Incas), an organisation with affiliation to the INC said, "Approximately 1,000 buses have been arranged to ferry attendees of the event to the venue. Food, water, and other refreshments will be provided to all attendees as well." The organizers added that close to 70 performance artists from various states across India will be performing prior to Gandhi's speech to the public. The speech is expected to last for 45 minutes, added Vazhasherry.
AICC Secretary Himanshu Vyas, Madhu Yaski, NRI Forum Deputy Secretary, Karnataka Aarti Krishna, Incas UAE president Mahadevan Vazhasseri, and MG Pushpan were also present at the website inaugural.
