Restrictions eased out in most areas in Srinagar

In Jammu & Kashmir, the restrictions under sec 144 have been eased out in most areas in Srinagar and elsewhere in Kashmir valley. Officials said as on date, out of 105 police stations the restrictions under Sec 144 have been lifted in 92 police station areas across Kashmir Valley. They said that overall situation in Kashmir remained under control.

The



movement of people is being continuously monitored through high caliber digital CCTVs in Srinagar and major towns in Kashmir. The preventive measures have also been taken in sensitive areas under old city police stations and in the city outskirts.

Officials said the attendance in government offices remained “satisfactory”.
