Restrictions under Sec 144 CrPc continues in uptown Srinagar

In Jammu & Kashmir, the restrictions under under Sec 144 CrPc will remain imposed in areas under 8 police stations in uptown Srinagar district as a precautionary measure to avoid any law and order problems in view of 8th Muharram



processions. 

Deputy Commissioner Srinagar told that no movement of pedestrians, motorists or any assembly of people will be allowed in areas under Ram Munshi Bagh, Kothi Bagh, Shaheed Gunj, Maisuma, Batmaloo and other police stations
