Revamped Odisha cabinet sworn in

Bhubaneswar: As many as 21 ministers took oath of office and secrecy in Odisha on Sunday. They include 13 ministers of cabinet rank and 8 ministers of State. Governor of Odisha Prof Ganeshi Lal administered the oath to the new team in the capital Bhubaneswar.

In the revamped team of chief minister Naveen Patnaik, at least seven new faces were sworn in as ministers



on Sunday. While nine ministers from the previous ministry have been repeated, at least five older stalwarts too have been given berths in the new ministry. Portfolio allocation however has not been made yet. The 3 years old team of ministers in the Naveen Patnaik yesterday had rendered their resignation to pave the way for the rejig yesterday.
