RJD Chief Lalu Prasad on Thursday appeared in a CBI Court of Ranchi in connection with three cases of illegal withdrawals from government treasuries of Doranda, Dumka and Deoghar.
After the Court proceedings, Lalu Prasad's lawyer, Prabhat Kumar told reporters that a list of 36 defense witnesses has been submitted in the Court.Judge Shiva Pal Singh accepted the submission and ordered their recordings, in a group of five, in the Court, from the next date- which starts on 29th of this
month.
Former Bihar Chief Minister Jagganath Mishra also appeared in the Court in connection with the ongoing fodder scam case. He is a co-accused, along with Lalu Prasad and 43 others in a case of illegal withdrawal of three cores and Rs. 13 lakhs from Dumka treasury.
Another case is of illegal withdrawal of nearly Rs. 90 lakhs from Deoghar treasury, in which Lalu Prasad, Jagganath Mishra and 28 accused .
The third case related to illegal withdrawal from Doranda treasury of Ranchi.
