Row over 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' created to divert govt from development agenda: Naidu

Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu has said that nothing else than the development and good governance is the main agenda of NDA government. He said, the controversy on 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' has been created to divert the government from its developmental agenda.

Mr Naidu was speaking at a function inaugurate



‘Swachh Sauchalay’ in an east Delhi market. Mr. Naidu said, Bharat Mata means all the people living in this country irrespective of their caste, creed, sex and religion. He added, Bharat Mata ki jai means jai of all the people of the country, and there should not be any objection to this.
