Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that 3700 crore rupees will be spent on the construction of new roads in the state next year. He was addressing villagers in Kalod village of Bhiwani district yesterday. While highlighting the development of villages in the state, he said that villages are being transformed in line with urban areas. The government's vision extends beyond basic infrastructure to encompass amenities such as parks, gymnasiums, and e-libraries in villages, he added.

Deputy CM stated that the government is actively implementing schemes for the welfare of every section of society. He emphasized the government's efforts to ensure 50 percent participation of women in Panchayats, with today every third ration depot being

allocated to women. The substantial involvement of women has contributed to their self-reliance, he added.

He said that presently, farmers are receiving the full value for their crops, and the crop prices are being promptly credited to the farmer's accounts within 48 hours. Unlike earlier times when farmers had to spend numerous nights waiting for their produce, now their crops are swiftly procured as soon as they reach the market.

The government has alleviated concerns and minimized risks through initiatives like the Bhavantar Bharpay Yojana and Crop Insurance Scheme. He assured the farmers that their outstanding insurance and compensation amounts will be disbursed soon.
