The RTC JAC on Monday
served strike notice to the management for failing to address their grievances
including payment arrears, leave encashment and other perks.
The JAC leaders gave the strike notice to the TSRTC JMD G V Ramana Rao at Bus Bhavan on Monday. JAC chairman P Kamaal Reddy said that the unions had entered into a pay scale agreement in front of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on May 13, 2015.

agreed upon to provide 50 per cent of dues with 8.75 per cent interest in the
form of bonds and remaining 50 per cent in three instalments (2015 Dasara, 2016
Ugadi and 2016 Dasara). He said that though the first instalment was released
during Dasara, no payment was made during Ugadi.
With strike notice being served, the RTC staff can go on strike any time after May 31.
