Russian President Vladimir Putin will reach New Delhi this evening on a two day visit to India. He will attend the 19th India-Russia Annual Bilateral Summit in New Delhi. During the visit, President Putin will hold delegation level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow.
Both the leaders will deliberate on a range regional and global issues with a focus on further boosting the bilateral ties. Several agreements are expected to be signed after the talks.
The Russian President will also
address the India-Russia Business Summit and will interact with a group of talented children. Before leaving for Moscow, Mr Putin will have a meeting with President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The last annual summit was held on June 1st last year, during the visit of the Prime Minister Modi to Russia. In May this year, Mr Modi had travelled to Russian coastal city of Sochi for an informal summit with Mr Putin during which they discussed a range of crucial issues.
