Sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra has now been suspended from the AAP. The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) took the decision after holding a meeting.
The decision was taken at a meeting of Aam Aadmi Party's Political Affairs Committee (PAC) at Kejriwal's residence in Civil Lines.
"Mishra has been suspended from the primary membership of the party," an AAP leader said.
Mishra, who was removed as Delhi's water minister on Saturday, dared the AAP to expel him over allegations he made on Sunday against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Mishra said he saw Kejriwal - the AAP's national convenor - accept a bribe of Rs 2 crore from Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain. He has also said Kejriwal and two of his aides tried to scuttle an investigation into a
water tanker scam that allegedly took place when former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit was the chairperson of the Delhi Jal Board, ANI reported.
Mishra today upped the ante against Kejriwal, asking if he would resign the day AAP minister Satyendar Jain goes to jail over allegations of corruption.
He also said he would lodge an FIR against Kejriwal, charging him with taking a bribe of Rs 2 crore in his presence.
Mishra also said that he would approach the Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday and submit all the evidence in a sealed envelope.
"I want to tell them I have an appointment at 11:30 tomorrow at CBI and will give them my statement. I will give them all details and documents at the CBI. I will be a witness and will file an FIR," he said.
