Home Minister Amit Shah, in a tweet on Friday, said the sacred Sengol given to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru by a holy Saivite Mutt from Tamil Nadu to symbolize India’s freedom was banished to a museum as a ‘walking stick’.

In a tweet, party President JP Nadda said most parties which are boycotting the inauguration of the new Parliament building are dynasty run political parties. Mr Nadda said elitist mindsets of dynasts are preventing them from logical thinking
