Prime minister Narendra Modi today attacked Congress on its leader Sam Pitroda's reported remarks on 1984 anti-Sikh riots alleging that they reflect main opposition party's mentality.

Speaking to a news agency, Prime Minister also quoted former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's controversial statement in the aftermath of anti-sikh riot.

He hit out at Congress saying that Kamal Nath, whose role is in question in this incident, was made first In-Charge of party affairs in Punjab and now the chief minister of Madhya

Pradesh.

The Prime minister listed the present government's initiative including houses to 1.5 crore poor, electrification of 18,000 villages and  Ayushmaan Bharat. He said that he wanted Congress to challenge on these issues but the party can not debate on these issues.

On a question whether action will be taken against  terrorist like Hafiz Saeed as taken against Masood Azahar, if BJP comes back to power, he said, BJP is committed to protect India and Indians at every front whether it's on land, sky or in space.
