Supreme Court will enforce the Lodha Panel's reforms today as Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to give an unconditional undertaking that it would comply with its recommendations.
The apex court yesterday, pulled up BCCI for its failure to meet the deadline to implement the reforms.
The court then decided to reserve its final order on the Indian cricket board today. The apex court also rebuked the cricket body for hurriedly disbursing around Rs 400 crore to state bodies. It is likely that the Supreme Court appointed panel of administrators will supersede the present BCCI office bearers.
