Security forces kill Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist in J&K

The terrorist killed by security forces in the exchange of gunfire at Badrapayeen Kralgund Handwara area of Kupwara district of Jammu & Kashmir last night, has been identified as a Jaish-e-Muhammad Pakistani terrorist. 

A Police spokesman said that from the incriminating materials recovered, the killed terrorist was identified as Pakistani national code-named Anwar. Police said, a



pistol and ammunition was also recovered from the slain terrorist. 

Meanwhile, the counter-terrorist operation has concluded in the area.

A cordon and search operation was launched in the area last night on the basis of specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
