Senior Congress leader Badruddin Sheikh passes away

Senior Congress leader and councillor in Amdavad Municipal Corporation Badruddin Sheikh passed away late last night following COVID19 infection. He was 68 and active in politics and public life. He had also served as State Congress spokesperson and Leader of opposition in AMC in past.

 

He was under treatment at AMC run SVP



-Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel hospital since third week of April after detected Covdid19 positive. Late Shaikh had also held many positions in the past including the Vice President of Khawaja Saheb Dargah Committee - Ajmer Shrif - appointed by Minority Affairs Department, government of India.
