Senior faculty members of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital submit mass resignations

In West Bengal, senior faculty members of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital submitted mass resignations yesterday. They did this in support of the junior doctors who are protesting against the rape and murder of a doctor in August this

year.

On the other hand, state Chief Secretary Manoj Pant is holding a meeting with the representatives of the medical colleges and hospitals. This meeting is also attended by West Bengal’s health secretary.
