Seven coaches of empty passenger train derail in Rampur, UP

In Uttar Pradesh, seven coaches of an empty passenger train derailed in Rampur district last night. The train was going to Bareilly from Moradabad. The guard of the train was injured in the accident.

All the coaches, power supply line and railways tracks were



badly damaged due to which train movement on the Delhi-Lucknow route was affected. Additional Divisional Railway Manager told that crack in the track could be the reason behind the derailment. Efforts are going on war footing to clear the track.
