Seven killed and Five Injured in Road Accident on Varanasi-Jaunpur Highway

In Uttar Pradesh, seven people were killed and five others injured in a road accident on Varanasi-Jaunpur Highway in Jalalpur area of Jaunpur district today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the death of the people who lost their lives in the



accident.

 

At least 12 people were traveling in a jeep after attending a cremation in Varanasi this morning when their vehicle collided with a truck. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital and the condition of some of them is said to be serious.
