Seven Maoists killed in encounter in Chhattisgarh

Security forces in Chhattisgarh succeeding in gunning down seven Maoists in Abujhmad forests of Narayanpur.A reports, on specific inputs, a joint team of police & District Reserve Group (DRG) was sent from Dantewada's Barsu this morning into the deep forests near Pushpal village of Abujhmad.

hidden there suddenly started firing on the team, which was retaliated promptly by the forces. At least 7 Maoists were killed while several others were reportedly injured in the resultant encounter.Apart from the bodies of insurgents, weapons and other Maoist material have also been recovered from the spot.
