Several organisations call for Bandh today in Rajasthan

In Rajasthan, Several social and trading organisations have given a call for ‘Bandh’ today against SC/ST Amendment bill passed in the parliament last month. 

The police have beefed up the security across the state in view of the Bandh. 

Section 144 has been imposed in Sawai Madhopur city since last night. Many schools



will remain closed across the state. 

Special DG of Police  NRK Reddy told that around 10 districts will be on and additional police force have been deployed in some districts. 

The Jaipur city police held a high-level meeting yesterday to discuss the security arrangements.
