Severe cold conditions prevails in Ladakh region

There is no respite from the bone biting cold conditions in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir as the area is reeling under severe cold condition after snowfall in the past two days. Due to overcast skies since December 10 , the cold wave has further intensified in the region and both night and



day temperature have dropped from three to four Degree Celsius. 

The minimum temperature in Leh town during the night time has settled at minus 10. 5 Degree Celsius , while yesterday the day temperature was recorded minus 2. 5 Degree Celsius.
