Sexual harassment case: Court takes cognizance of charge sheet filed against R K Pachauri

A Delhi Court has taken cognizance of charge sheet filed against former chief of 'The Energy and Resource Institute', R K Pachauri for allegedly sexually harassing a colleague. The court said there is enough material to begin case against Pachauri under



Sections of Indian Penal Code related to sexual harassment and wrongful restraint. Pachauri has been charged with sexual harassment by a woman researcher who used to work directly under the scientist. Afterwards, she resigned from her job.
