The world famous Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri in Odisha is reopening for the devotees from today.
After about 9 months of the pandemic-imposed closure of the temple, the Lord will give darshan to devotees in a graded manner.
After a long wait, the devotees will finally be able to have darshan of the Trinity at the temple from today, of course with covid-19 precautions and other do's and don'ts.
The first three days of visit to the temple
beginning today are kept reserved for the servitors and their families.
Followed by this, residents of Puri alone will be allowed inside the temple till the 31st of this month.
Devotees from other areas can visit the temple from the third of January next.
The temple will be shut for the public on the 1st and 2nd of January, keeping in view the anticipated rush of the devotees on account of the new year.
