The cyber cell of Panipat Police yesterday arrested six persons including the kingpin of the gang who committed cyber fraud in the name of providing loans.

The five mobile phones, 12 SIM cards and passbooks and checkbooks of three bank accounts have been recovered from their possession. The accused have been identified as Satwinder, a resident of Kurukshetra, Arjun, a resident of Tussang in Karnal district, Charandas, a resident of Indri in Karnal, Ashish, a



resident of Sultanpur in Hisar, Abhishek, a resident of Govindgarh in Kurukshetra and Sehdev, a resident of Shahbad Markanda.

Inspector Praveen Sharma said that in the initial investigation, a large number of frauds have come to the fore in other states as well.

The accused were produced in the court and the court has sent four accused to judicial custody and two accused to police custody.
