Six children died in a road accident in Bihar after the car they were travelling in fell into a pond. Four others have been injured

The incident took place on Tuesday in Araria district in Bihar. The children were travelling with four adults in a Scorpio car when the tragedy occurred.

The passengers were returning from a marriage ceremony.



The driver of the car lost control over the vehicle near Dabra village resulting in a collision with a tree following which the fell into the pond.

Six children died on the spot while others were taken to a nearby hospital.

Police said that the driver was trying to save a child who was crossing the road when he lost control over the vehicle.
