Smriti Irani reviews relief & rescue work in flood affected in Gujarat

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Textile Mrs. Smriti Irani visited flood affected areas of Banaskantha district in North Gujarat yesterday.

She met the people in worst affected Dhanera and Thara Talukas of Banaskantha. Mrs. Irani also reviewed the relief and rescue operation in the flood hit areas and praised the relief and rescue



agencies in the district for their continued services.

Talking to media persons, Mrs. Smriti Irani criticized Congress party for capturing their MLAs at a time when flood affected people needs them. She alleged that Congress is concentrating only on one seat of Rajya Sabha- and forgets the apathy of flood affected people.
