A snake was found in the cargo hold of a Dubai-bound Air India Express aircraft. The reptile was found after the aeroplane landed at Dubai International Airport (DXB) on Saturday. Subsequently, the aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DCGA) ordered a probe into the incident, as per senior officials.

passengers safely deplaned the aircraft B737-800 which departed from Kerala's Calicut. The senior official of DGCA said that the snake was found in the plane's cargo hold after it arrived at the DXB airport.
Shortly after the incident, Dubai airport's fire services were prompted. Aircraft fumigation is in progress at present.
