South Central Railway to Restore Machilipatnam Express From Today

Kakinada: The South Central Railway (SCR) will restore the Machilipatnam-Visakhapatnam Express (Train No. 17219) and Visakhapatnam-Machilipatnam Express (Train No. 17220) from Tuesday.

Kakinada MP Vanga Githa thanked the railway officials for restoring the trains. She had submitted a memorandum to the railway officials when they came to Kakinada,



seeking the restoration of several trains, including the Machilipatnam Express. She also thanked Union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for his intervention.

The SCR has also announced that it will restore the LPT-Visakhapatnam (Train No. 12086) and VSKP LPT (Train No. 12805) trains from Tuesday.
