Southwest Monsoon advances into some parts of Rayalseema, coastal Andhra Pradesh

The Southwest Monsoon advanced into some parts of Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Pradesh. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) department said conditions are becoming favourable for further advance of the monsoon into remaining parts of Rayalaseema, some parts of South coastal Andhra and the central Bay of Bengal during the next two days.

Farmers and other people are eagerly awaiting arrival of monsoon in the State. Temparature had gone up to 47 Degree Celsius during



the last week in several pockets of Andhra Pradesh. 

Three persons died due to thunderstorm in Visakhaptnam yesterday. 

Heavy rain with high velocity winds and hail storms are predicted today and tomorrow in Rayalaseema and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh. 

Heavy rains recorded in Ananthapur and several places in Rayalasema region in Andhra Pradesh.
