Special Court Kulgam issues proclamation orders against five active terrorists

Special Court Kulgam designated under NIA Act has issued proclamation orders under section 82 CrPC against five active terrorists.

In the Kashmir Valley, Special Court Kulgam designated under NIA Act has issued proclamation orders under section 82 Cr PC against five active terrorists.

According to Police, the terrorists were involved in various terror crimes and target killings including the killing of a lady teacher Rajni Bala and Bank Manager Vijay Kumar in district Kulgam, last year.

Before issuing proclamation orders, Court has already issued open-ended Non-Bailable Warrants against all



these terrorists. Proclamation orders have been read in places of their native villages and copies of orders have also been pasted in places of their residential houses and their villages as well.

Police said that before initiation of further proceedings under law against these terrorists, the Court has given them a chance to surrender before the Court or investigation agency. Teams of SIU also went to their native villages in Kulgam, Shopian, and Pulwama districts along with local police and Magistrates for the execution of Proclamation Notices, and proper SOPs were followed during these proceedings.
