Special NIA court rejects bail plea of four accused in Bhima Koregaon violence case

The special NIA court has rejected the bail pleas of four accused -- Hany Babu, Sagar Gorkhe, Ramesh Gaichor and Jyoti Jagtap in the Bhima Koregaon violence case. They were accused of making objectionable statements about history which were detrimental to social harmony which resulted in stone-pelting and violence in Bhima Koregaon.

The



charge sheet mentions, that all accused are members of the banned terrorist organisation whose main object is to establish ‘Janata Sarkar’ that is people’s government via revolution supported by a commitment to protracted Armed struggle to undermine and to seize power from the State.
