A Special Campaign 3.0 will begin today with a focus on Swachhata and reducing pendency in government offices with a saturation approach. The campaign coincides with the Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It will continue till 31st of this month. The Campaign is a sequel of the Special campaigns conducted in the last two years.
According
to the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, around 90 lakh square feet of prime office space has been cleared during the last two Swachhata campaigns and put into productive usage. Besides, the government also generated a revenue of over 370 crore rupees from disposal of scrap and four lakh 56 thousand Public Grievances were redressed.
