Mumbai: Union Minister for Sports Anurag Thakur yesterday interacted with children playing sports at a ground near Worli on his way for a program at the Worli.
Yesterday was the second day of the 3-day visit to Maharashtra under the Vikas Tirth Yatra.
During his interaction with children, the Minister encouraged the children to play any number of sports but take up one sport passionately as a dream to play for India.
He further encouraged the
children to practice with hard work and discipline for achieving the dream of playing for India and wished them good luck.
On the second day of the Vikas Tirth Yatra, Mr. Thakur also reviewed the 12 thousand crore rupees Coastal Road project.
The Minister also visited the famous Mumbai Devi temple in the city. He attended public meetings and interactions under the ‘Ghar Ghar Sampark Abhiyan’ in Sewri.
