Jaipur : During the 811th urs in Ajmer on Saturday, Basant, or the beginning of spring, was celebrated in the dargah of Sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti.

At the mausoleum of the Sufi saint, mustard flowers were presented by qawwals, or Sufi singers, led by Nasiruddin Chisti, the spiritual head of the dargah who



succeeded Zainul Abedin Ali Khan.

The epicenter of religious tolerance and freedom is India. Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb is reflected in every festival held here. The Basant Panchami is a well-known illustration. The spiritual leader issued a statement in this location stating, "Sufism is the root cause of this great tradition."
