Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has arrived in Bengaluru today on four-day visit to India. He will arrive in New Delhi tomorrow after overnight stay in Bengaluru. In New Delhi, the visiting leader will have a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will also call on the President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday. 

Mr Wickremesinghe will be taking part



at the opening ceremony of the 5th Global Conference on Cyberspace which will be inaugurated by Mr Modi. A host of bilateral issues are likely to figure during discussion at bilateral meeting between the two leaders. 

The visit comes a couple of days after Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar was in Colombo to discuss these issues before the bilateral meet.
