State govt to provide insurance cover of Rs.5 lakh each to those visiting Gangasar Mela: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that state government will provide an insurance cover of 5 lakh rupees each to those visiting the Gangasar Mela to be held in January next year.

This was decided

during a meeting held at the state secretariat. Chief Minister said that every single visitor will be covered.According to a senior minister, the insurance cover is being introduced for the first time for the visitors.
