Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that nobody will be spared and strict action will be taken against all those found guilty of negligence and dereliction of duties in the children's death tragedy at BRD Medical College Gorakhpur . He has said loss of children's lives due to lack of medical facilities is not tolerable .

After visiting the hospital along with union health minister JP Nadda and meeting with kin to the children admitted at the hospital Mr Yogi told media persons yesterday at Gorakhpur that the cause of recent death of children at BRD Medical College Gorakhpur will be ascertained by high power probe committee headed by the Chef Secretary of the State Rajiv Kumar. He said that he himself had visited the college hospital for four times after being Chief Minister only to strengthen the treatment facilities for Encephalitis and acute Encephalitis



syndrome. 

Talking to media persons Mr Nadda announced that a regional medical research Centre will be established at Gorakhpur. He said that the Centre has sanction 85 crore rupees for the project. He said that a three member high level specialist doctors team from Centre is also camping at Gorakhpur to ascertain the cause of death of children and also to strengthen the protocol of treatment. 

Mr Yogi was scheduled to visit flood affected districts yesterday but he preferred to visit Gorakhpur canceling his all pretty scheduled assignments. Earlier he had send his two cabinet colleagues Health Minister Sidharth Nath Singh and minister of State for Medical ducation Ashutosh Tandon to know the facts about tragedy. Denying the allegations about paucity of oxygen as cause of death of children Mr Tandon had suspended Medical College Principal Rajiv Misra for dereliction of duties.
