Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked District Collectors to strive to achieve inclusive growth rate, balanced development and implement welfare schemes effectively ensuring the satisfaction of beneficiaries.
Addressing the two-day District Collector’s conference which began yesterday in Vijayawada, he said that the Collectors should take achieving inclusive growth rate as bench mark. Despite the State
emerging two years ago as a residuary state, had achieved 10.99 economic growth last year and 3.01 revenue growth for the year 2014-15.
Lamenting that Andhra Pradesh is in the bottom rung in South India with low per capita income of Rs.1.07,532, the Chief Minister said that the government had set a target of making the state, best performer by 2022, developed state by 2019 and number one destination in the world by 2050.
