Sunetra Pawar, NCP leader and wife of Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar filed her nomination for the upcoming Rajya Sabha by-elections at Vidhan Bhawan in Mumbai today. She was accompanied by Ajit Pawar, the National Working President of NCP Praful Patel, and Maharashtra Minister Chhagan Bhujbal.

The Rajya Sabha byelection is scheduled for 25th



June.

Speaking on the development, Maharashtra Minister Chhagan Bhujbal said, the party’s core group members have unanimously decided to nominate Sunetra Pawar for the Rajya Sabha seat.

Sunetra Pawar lost the recently held Lok Sabha election from Baramati to NCP-SCP candidate Supriya Sule.
