New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met with Anwar Ibrahim, the President of Malaysia’s People’s Justice Party on Wednesday on the sidelines of the fourth edition of the Raisina Dialogue here.
Both the leaders discussed steps to further strengthen bilateral relations between India and Malaysia, according to Raveesh Kumar, the spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs.
“External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim,
President of Parti Keadilan Rakayat of Malaysia on the sidelines of the 4th edition of #RaisinaDialogue and discussed steps to further strengthen the bilateral relations,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
Ibrahim is currently in India on a five-day visit, which started on January 8, for the Raisina Dialogue 2019 along with other engagements with high-ranking Indian officials.
He is slated to deliver the valedictory address at the Dialogue on January 10.
