Sushma Swaraj not to contest 2019 Lok Sabha polls

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj declared yesterday that she will not contest the 2019 General election due to health reason.

Mrs Swaraj shared the decision with media persons in Indore during campaigning for party candidates. "It is the party which

decides, but I have made up my mind not to contest the next elections," Ms Swaraj said.

She said she had informed her party.

Ms Swaraj is the Member of Parliament from Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh.
