Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Friday inspected the second phase of the Chennai Metro Rail project. The project is being undertaken at a cost of Rs. 61 thousand 843 Crore. The Chief Minister also discussed about the Central Square and Urban Square
Projects at an estimated cost of Rs. 403 Crores with the Metro rail authorities.
The second phase will have three tracks at a total area of 118 Kilometre distance which will cover the suburban areas of Greater Chennai.
