New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin met the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Commerce, Industry, and Food Minister Piyush Goel in New Delhi yesterday. A release from the state government, issued in Chennai said that Mr Stalin urged Ms Sitharaman to release the dues and funds worth 23,430 crore rupees to the state.
Mr Stalin gave a memorandum to Industry Minister
Piyush Goel, demanding the Centre’s help in establishing a mega food park near Madurai among others.
Earlier, he also met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and jointly inspected a public health facility and a school. On the final day of his Delhi visit today, Mr Stalin is scheduled to open the DMK’s party office in the national capital.
