Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow admission to plus two students on the basis of their marks to enter professional courses including Medicine and cancel all national exams including NEET
In a letter to Prime Minister Modi, he said that national level entrance exams for any professional course would be immensely detrimental to the health and well being of the
students.
Stalin said that a committee was constituted to decide on evaluation and compilation of the marks of Class 12 students in the State.
Concerned on the safety of the students by a large section of educationists, teachers, parents and medical professionals, the Chief Minister appealed Prime Minister to take a favourable decision soon.
