Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi has said that every language is important and each has its own pride. Delivering his speech at the Hindi Month Celebration coinciding with DD Tamil’s golden jubilee at DD Chennai, he said that students are enthusiastic to learn Hindi. India’s spiritual and cultural history, and Tamil thinkers and poets were an inspiration to the nation. 

The Governor appreciated the role of Doordarshan in nation-building and also for disseminating accurate information, and there was no bias.
