TDP leader Vijayarama Rao joins TRS Party

Former Minister and TDP senior leader K Vijayarama Rao, who recently resigned from the TDP, joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Monday.

He joined the TRS in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. KCR welcomed the former CBI



director into the party by offering party kanduva. 

According to sources, the TRS has promised Vijayarama Rao's daughter Annapurna a respectable position in the party.  Vijayarama Rao, who won Khairatabad seat in 1999, lost the 2014 elections.
