Telangana lawyers demand to lift suspension on Judges

Lawyers in Telangana state have been staging protests over the issue of High Court bifurcation for nearly a month now. The protest has intensified with the suspension of 11 judges in this regard. 

Now, the lawyers are staging Dharnas seeking revocation of judicial officers suspension. They called for a Chalo Indira Park programme on Friday. The Telangana lawyers



assembled at Indira Park on Saturday to stage a protest where they raised slogans demanding justice.

The lawyers, intend to exert pressure on the State and Central governments with the Maha Dharna at Indira Park, but the police have permitted only for 1,000 lawyers to attend the Dharna. All the courts including the Hyderabad High Court have increased security.
